I work as part of a fitness team for an occupational health company and these scales are providing the motivation for all the participants that are entering the challenge. I have used them with the garmin watch and clients have been very impressed.

If you are serious about tritahlon, have a Garmin ANT+ device then I think it's a must have device Review by Kevin

I had a simpler set of body composition scales (Omron) that were fine but having recently bought a Garmin 310XT I decided to upgrade to these. They do the job fine: you press a button on the Garmin, hop on & it measures everything from weight, fat%, bone mass, water composition and just about eberything else you can think of! When you go to your PC the Garmin autmatically & wirelessly sends all the health data to your Garmin Connect account. From here you can track your health metrics over time which is proving to be very motivational :-) If you are serious about tritahlon, have a Garmin ANT+ device then I think it's a must have device. The unit looks great and works well but is quite expensive and cannot easily be used as a regular set of scales so, for these reasons, I have given it just 4 stars. (Posted on 06/01/2012)
