A large weighing platform supplied by Scalesexpress was featured on the Wild about Pandas tv programme on BBC2 recently. We're not sure whether it was Tian Tian or Yang Guang being weighed!

Scalesexpress.com has helped two Chinese giant pandas settle into their new home in Edinburgh by designing and supplying a purpose-built weighing scale to monitor their health.

The two pandas, Tian Tian and Yang Guang, are the first giant pandas to live in the UK for 17 years.

"We were thrilled when Graham Catlow, the Animal Project Design Officer from Edinburgh Zoo, approached us back in May to ask for help in designing and supplying a scale capable of weighing the pandas," said Gail Hounslea, managing director of Bolton online retailer Scalesexpress.com.
