Men who are obese in their early 20s have a significantly increased risk of dying or of having serious health problems such as diabetes and heart disease by the time they reach age 55, a new long-term study indicates.

Researchers tracked the health of 6,500 Danish men from age 22 until age 55. At the start of the study, 83 percent of the young men had normal weight, 5 percent were underweight, 10 percent were overweight and 1.5 percent were obese.

The inaugural edition of the e3 Awards was hosted and organised by 1 Event Media and was launched to provide a platform for promoting improved multicultural links and greater communication between region's local communities. The company has plans to roll the awards out across other regions of the UK.

Body fat scales use a technique called Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis... or BIA for short.

A small and completely harmless electrical current is passed through your body. The electrical current passes more quickly through fat free tissue like muscle than it does through fat or bone tissue.
