I bought these mechanical bathroom scales as Salter is a well known brand name. They are a good sturdy set of scales with a large easy to read dial. I found that they were not accurate on my carpeted bedroom floor, they must be used on a flat surface to give an accurate reading, since I moved them to my bathroom which has a flat tiled floor these scales work perfectly fine, providing an accurate reading every time, albeit I'm far too heavy lol ! I like the old fashioned traditional look of these scales. These are good quality scales. (Posted on 19/08/2010)
