This is about half the size of a bicycle pump with two hefty hooks at either end. It weighs loads up to 55lb, which is good for some luggage jobs, but not all. The hook is not very comfortable to hold, especially with a hefty suitcase dangling from the other end, but it's handy for hanging from a door jamb or sturdy tree. The black plastic unit feels tough enough and was accurate in all my tests. Salter claim it is corrosion-prrof. Why that would be useful is beyond me. Verdict: Cheap, portable and accurate enough for weighing smaller luggage. (Posted on 30/07/2010)
